Kay,I have no idea what to blog now. -.- Was thinking of blogging about Eshan's barbeque but I don't have a lot of pictures. Wanted to blog about yesterday,where I spent the whole day at my cuzzie's house,but I'm feeling super damn lousy now to talk about anything.
In fact,I only feel like talking about band. SYF is exactly 8 days away and the band is almost going on hiatus. I hadn't touched my instrument for 2 days now and I have a performance in the school hall tomorrow. 12pm dismissal for band members. 1pm performance. What the f****** faggot crap is that? 1 hour to get ready,be seated,with all the percussion in place AND warmed-up? Total bullshit. But tomorrow is just a timing performance. The soundcheck,tuning,dynamics or whatever doesn't really matter tomorrow. So it doesn't matter if we play like shit tomorrow cause its not like the school understands what we are doing anyway. I think only 5% of them would be musically capable enough to actually understand what we're doing.The rest are just fillers who are seated there because they have to and not because they appreciate our stuffs or anything.But whatever,I don't care and it doesn't matter what they think of us.
Anyway,the problem right now isn't really the band.I mean,other than the few people who aren't completely focused,the band is more or less ready to face judgement day on 9th April. What I mean is,THE REST of the people who more or less connected to the band and have some RESPONSIBILITY over the band.THEY are the ones who haven't seemed to wake up yet. I mean,come on lar. One bloody performance in an exchange with 9 other schools doesn't prove anything. Just proves that we need more exchanges with BETTER bands so we could gain more confidence. But of course,the ONES with authority doesn't seem to think so and could not be bothered to do anything about it. Take tomorrow's performance for example. We are given 1 bloody hour to move down our things,move down the rest of the percussion,set up chairs AND warm up? That's sounds pretty darn impossible to me. But whatever. Since they think we are Supermen and Wonder Women, we'll just make use of whatever time we got and make full use of it. You guys will probably be thinking 'Oh,Murhani just got emo again because she's unsatisfied with the people in band and she's blaming everyone other than herself.' Screw whoever is thinking that way. Go to Seri's blog and read her latest post then after that,read my long tag.Maybe you'll know what I mean by then.
Now I'm thinking what if the whole school committee supports us and give us the time and attention that we need,like the way MSS supports their band. I think we'll be in a much much better state than we are right now. Can't help but feel totally unappreciated right now. =
