Ahahaha,sorry my last post wasn't that fulfilling.I seriously have no mood to blog.But now I do!!!SO.....I blog lohx......xD.I couldn't blog yesterday and you will see why later.Hmmm,okay,yesterday there was the open house thingy.The band seemed like rubbish so we were thrown out of the hall to perform in a squeezy corner at the back.We[the hornists]plus the euphoniumists had to play near the steps where there is a very great possibility that we might fall of and create a 'scene'.Anyway,I don't wanna talk too much about the open house.Other than the part where the saxies and hornies[except Zijie] went to KFC to eat and the Jurong Sec band members coming to watch us,the rest weren't worth mentioning.It's the concert AFTER the open house that's worth talking about.
So the open house ended around 4pm but went back at 5pm.Time in between used for carrying up instruments,pack,wait for rain to stop,wait again for committee people blah blah,whatever.Anyways,me and Weijuan ate at Long John first before meeting up with the rest.[Syaq,Sihui,Melicia,Guoting,Ruiheng].By right,we were supposed to be taking off in the train BY 7.15pm.BUT Guoting was very early and we ended up taking the train BARELY at 7.30pm.Absolute no way we could make it in time right??[Concert starts at 8pm]And how right we were.We reached City Hall at 8pm On The Dot.T.T.And we still had to walk all the way to the bloody Raffles Hotel which none of us know where it is exactly.So plus five minutes for running around like trained idiots,trying to find what was supposed to be one of Singapore's famous landmark.It felt like we were competing in The Amazing Race.^^ LMAO.SO,a kind lady lead us in the right direction to the hotel.But it didn't end there.We found the hotel but we couldn't find the entrance,SO we walked one whole round around the extremely 'SMALL' hotel to get inside.AND THEN,inside,we didn't know the way around around the hotel,so plus another five minutes just to find the jubilee hall.T.T
Reached at 8.15pm.They were ending their Sevens piece.The third piece.Missed Omisoka and Poetic Intermezzo.I felt like crying.T.T.Anyway,the repetoire for the concert was really nice.I didn't have the time to scan it at the time of posting so I can't show it to you all BUT I can tell you some of the songs they play[In fact,MOST of the songs] are also played by Hua Yi Concert Band.^^ Some of the pieces like Les Miserables,Abram's Pursuit and etc.Don't wanna talk to much.I will give more updates about the band camp which will start on Monday!!=D So t00tsies!!
